Yeah, i have become a big fan of the Arcades. Can't say the same about the monkeys as the beeb put me off them with their unadulterated plugging, obviously had been paid to say loadsa nice tings and push them down the public throat. Not a great fan of the beeb at all.
Have you heard of a band called the Old Knudsens? They are pretty good for a band which record all their music in a public toilet in Manchester. Their front man plays a little known instrument called a whining kitty, which is basically a neutered tom cat nailed to a bit of 4 by 2 and is not aqt all tunable. A very innovative setup.
there just aren't enough trailblazing musicians out there that are willing to try out new instruments, and you can record music anywhere in manchester and its bound to be gold, musical mecca it is.
